Explore the Majestic Chugach National Forest

Begich, Boggs Visitor Center
Girdwood, Alaska

Recognized for excellence in design by the National Association for Interpretation, the Center showcases the breathtaking landscape and resourceful people of the Chugach National Forest and Prince William Sound. Traditional storytelling takes pride of place in the center of the gallery, and elsewhere full-size dioramas fuse light, sound, and media to reveal what it’s like to meet a moose, see with an eagle’s eyes, or curl up with an ice worm.
