Shining a Light on Coastal History
Point Pinos Lighthouse
Pacific Grove, California
Completed in 1855 and located on the stunning, rocky coast of Pacific Grove, California, this historic landmark is the oldest operating Lighthouse on the West Coast. We’ve created an interpretive plan to guide visitors through the tower and its Cape Cod-style house while sharing stories, sights, and sounds from the rich history of the Lighthouse, as well as from its continuing role as an aid to navigation.
