San Joaquin County Historical Society & Museum
Lodi, California

An 18’ wide photomosaic, comprised of more than 7,000 individual images, captures the deep connection between the Native peoples of San Joaquin County, California, and the diverse plant and animal life of their homelands. It provides a mesmerizing backdrop for visitors as they listen to a history of the Indian freedom fighters and traditional stories recorded by members of the Miwok and Yokuts tribes.
